How to Grow Magic Mushrooms: A Comprehensive Guide

Preparation (Step 1):

Before beginning, ensure hands are thoroughly washed. Clean the exterior of the grow kit with alcohol or hand sanitizer. Set the lid aside for later use.

Sterilization (Step 2):

Sterilize an eating fork by applying a flame from a lighter to the fork’s tips. Wipe it down with 90% rubbing alcohol for complete cleanliness.

Creating Ventilation (Step 3):

Using the sterilized fork, gently create four small holes on each side of the grow kit lid, totaling eight holes for ventilation.

Hydration (Step 4):

Fill the grow kit with clean water, allowing it to reach the brim. Seal the grow kit lid and refrigerate it for a maximum of 12 hours to ensure proper hydration.

Optimal Environment (Step 5):

Position the grow kit in an area with an ambient room temperature ranging from 20-25°C. Shield it from direct sunlight and keep it away from heat sources. Maintain high CO2 levels and humidity within the bag until pinheads appear.

Adding Moisture (Step 6):

Upon removal from the fridge, add 150 mL of room-temperature water to the plastic bag, ensuring it’s placed roughly in the center of the lower half of the bag.

Enclosure (Step 7):

Return the grow kit to the plastic bag provided with your Microdose Bros kit, ensuring the bag contains the added water. Seal the plastic bag securely using the provided paper clips.

Dark Storage (Step 8):

Store the bag containing the grow kit in a dark, enclosed container such as a standard-sized box. Allow it to remain in darkness until the first pinheads start to develop, typically around 1 week.

Routine Maintenance (Step 9):

Once pinheads emerge, open the bag daily to release CO2 and provide fresh oxygen. Mist the interior of the plastic bag with water to maintain optimal humidity.

Harvesting (Step 10):

Congratulations on your successful harvest! You can begin a new batch of mushrooms by repeating Steps 1 through 7.
