First things first: New Orleanians are not over it. We won’t ever be over it. We won’t forgive, and we won’t forget. However, we will mourn the theft of the Super Bowl from the Saints in our uniquely New Orleans style: with parades and parties that are part dirge, part farce, and all celebration. Because even though it ended in emotional trauma, this season did give us a lot of reasons to rejoice.

You might still be holed up Sean Payton-style with ice cream and Netflix, and that is a perfectly valid choice. But if you feel the need to relive the past or commune with other members of the Who Dat nation on this uniquely painful Super Bowl Sunday, here are a few places to do it.

Bag of Donuts, Dr Rock, Tin Star, and Abdul D Tentmaker headline at the Rock ’N’ Bowl, where the party kicks off at 3 p.m. The 2010 Super Bowl game will also be aired. Tickets to “the Anti-Goodell Protest Bowl” cost $10.

At 4 p.m., a second line kicks off from the Kingpin, which will also air the 2010 Super Bowl game. “Free shots if we win,” owners promise on their Facebook page.

The “Boycott Bolt,” a 3.2-mile run/bar hop, starts at Ms. Mae’s at 4 p.m. and hits all the major anti-NFL hotspots. Walkers, bikers, and drunken amblers are welcome to participate.

The “Anti-LIE Bowl Party” takes place at Dat Dog Magazine Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features an airing of Super Bowl XLIV, a second-line with the Sophie B. Wright Brass Band, a Choppa Style dance off, a dunking booth, games, and more.

This Irish Channel sports bar hosts “Boycott Bowl” from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Super Bowl XLIV will be aired, as will “other CRUCIAL games in Saints history” including the “Falcons vs Patriots Superbowl from 2:08 in the 3rd until the end of the game,” according to the event listing. There will also be crawfish, giveaways, and live music from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A $10 ticket gets you access to Fulton Street’s live music and dance parties from noon to 10 p.m. CHOPPA, Shamarr Allen & The Underdawgs, Partners N Crime and The Big EZ Band, Rockin Dopsie, 5th Ward Weebie, and Kermit Ruffins are just a few headliners. Proceeds benefit the New Orleans Recreation Development Foundation.

“Cheated But Not Defeated: Blackout and Gold Second Line Parade” is led by two brass bands and kicks off at Jackson Square at 2 p.m. It proceeds down Decatur Street to S. Peters Street, from S. Peters Street to Canal Street, and from Canal Street to Bourbon Street, where it concludes at the intersection of Bourbon and Iberville streets.
